NPDES Stormwater Compliance

NPDES Stormwater Compliance

Client: City of Bellingham

Case Study: Peak carried out an independent Phase II compliance evaluation for Bellingham’s stormwater facilities and maintenance practices. Services also included assistance with catch basin, vault, and stormwater inspections.

Impact: Data and information from the evaluation was also used in the city’s stormwater rate study. Such compliance evaluation projects are useful for municipalities facing Phase II permit requirements.

Testimonial: “On behalf of the Parkstone Community Association I would like to sincerely thank you and your fine staff for the stormwater system report that we received last week. I reviewed the report in detail over the weekend and found it to most informative and helpful on providing our neighborhood with guidance on the issues that we need to address. By copy of this email I would also like to thank the Public Works Department for hosting the stormwater seminars and providing funding for the preparation of over 20 reports to other homeowners associations. There is a lot to learn about this topic and, I believe, that the seminars, hand-out materials, and the final reports were extremely helpful to all that attended.” Edward W. Krause, Parkstone Community Association
