Climate Action and Community Conversations
Client: City of Bellingham, WA
Case Study: Peak team members planned and implemented Bellingham’s 2022 Climate Action Week to “Inspire Community Action Through Climate Conversations.” With guidance from staff at the City of Bellingham, the Peak team developed and promoted the event theme supported by the development of communication materials. We coordinated community events and developed/distributed a survey to obtain attendee feedback on this annual event which has been held since 2019.
Impact: The week-long event featured 25 climate-focused events and engaged hundreds of kids and adults from the Bellingham community and beyond in thought-provoking community conversations and climate-action-oriented learning events. Events included topics such as:
